Biography
I introduce myself: my name is Chiara Pisanu, I am an Italian illustrator and animator. I studied graphic design, art direction and advertising at NABA NUOVA ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI in Milan, and now I am a student at UAL London college of communication, for the Animation Master degree.
Director statement
The film I made is a two-color 2D animation (in black and white) which, based on the audio clip provided to me with the voice over by the artist Paula Rego, wants to attract the public to observe from a new point of view the interesting art of Rego. Both with the style of the background music, that with the sound effects, and the style of illustration, the director wanted to give a sinister interoretation in line with the themes of the works of the Portuguese painter
