TAKCOM is a videographer who oversees television commercials, music videos, art installations, and live performances. He has collaborated with various artists across all kinds of genres and scales.

He focuses on phenomenons that reflect the current generation using high tech, SF, and occasionally surreal motifs, but his vision has always centered around evoking emotional experiences that are often difficult to describe with language. He achieves this by utilizing primitive movements, shapes, colors and primordial time sequences.

VCMやMV、インスタレーション、ライブパフォーマンスなど多種多様なアウトプットに加え、音楽を軸にジャンルも規模も様々なアーティストとコラボレーションを繰り返しながら活動をしてきた映像作家。

先端技術や時代性を持った事象に伴った表現と同時に、ハイテク、SF、時にシュールレアルなモチーフを扱いながらも、そのビジョンが常に射程に置くのは、それらとは相反するような原始的な動き/色や形のイメージ、根源的な時間のリズムを用いて、言語で容易に置き換えることができない情緒的な体験を創造することである。
